MY HEART: Involvement in Chamber Music and Residencies

Philos Brass

Philos Brass was formed in 2007 and the quintet has performed throughout Pennsylvania and conducted residencies in Milford, PA and Atlanta, GA, engaging audiences with their high energy and youthful exuberance. Philos Brass was created out of their love for brass chamber music and we seek to share brass chamber music with audiences of all ages through recitals, community performances and educational programs.

Rittenhouse Jazz Quintet

From the "City of Brotherly Love," The Rittenhouse Jazz Quintet was born in Philadelphia and named after the heart of the city. Consisting of professional musicians from the Philadelphia area, the RJQ has performed for the 2008-2009 season opening night gala for the Philadelphia Orchestra, the 2009 Berks Jazz Festival and the Washington College Concert Series. It is our mission to share the musical process through jazz with our audiences, while preserving the rich heritage of jazz performance.
